LASSO provides a platform for clients to browse and hire from the pool of talents. We have a range of designers – from branding, advertising, illustration, to motion graphics, website, spatial, photography and videography. Under each category, the designers are classified accordingly to their styles of work, providing the clients with a more efficient method of finding their desired crafter. The application has a portfolio feature too, allowing designers to upload and showcase their work to potential hirers. This exposure allows designers to be discovered and better their chances of getting picked for jobs.

LASSO operates in a manner that quantifies prevalent design styles, putting them into a list which enables users to browse styles that they might not have seen before. Users are then able to see the artists/designers behind that style. This is the first time that design styles and categories have been broken down in such a manner that lets users understand the subject better, allowing improved communication of expectations and design language between client and designer. The application promotes style-based selection where clients select a designer that suits their desired style, rather than price-based selecting of designers based on lowest fees.
